I wanted to install a fly screen on my door without having to drill into the brick wall or even into the door frame made of iron.
So I had the idea to buy two pot magnets with hook, type BD-FTN-50,
from supermagnete.fi.
I placed them left and right on the upper door frame and inserted the hanging support of the net into the hooks.
Since this door is exposed to strong winds, the choice of large pot magnets with 75 kg adhesive force each seemed appropriate for safety reasons.
Now my screen door is held firmly in place, all without drilling any holes.
Note from the supermagnete team:
Our magnets are not rust-proof and hence designed for dry indoor spaces.
With prolonged outdoor use, they will likely start to rust.
