AlNiCo magnets
We have AlNiCo magnets, also known as school magnets, in various shapes and sizes and for all kinds of magnet experiments in our assortment. Magnets made of AlNiCo (aluminium, nickel and cobalt alloy) are significantly stronger than ordinary refrigerator magnets made of ferrite but weaker than neodymium magnets. In addition, the material is also less brittle, which makes AlNiCo magnets suitable for experimentation.
Use AlNiCo magnets in combination with iron filings, a flux detector or ferrofluid, to easily make magnetic field lines visible. In addition, these school magnets are also great for picking up small ferrous objects.
