Description

This rubberised rectangular magnet system with eyelet in black allows you to conveniently hang objects with hooks on ferromagnetic surfaces. The eyelet with an inner diameter of 19 mm could also serve as an anchor for ropes that can be pulled through and used as yet another mounting option. The rubber-coated magnet system with eyelet reveals its full adhesive force of 65 kg on the underside of thick steel beams where the load pulls vertically downward. Thanks to its rectangular shape, this 88 x 50 mm magnet system can be precisely positioned.

The coating made of black rubber protects delicate surfaces from scratches and the magnet from occasional moisture and splashes. However, permanent outdoor use can lead to rust. The rubber coating also increases the load capacity in shear direction and provides slip resistance (see FAQ about displacement force).

Please note:
If you want to reposition the rectangular magnet system, please do not attempt to remove it by dragging it along the mounting surface. This will damage the rubber coating. Instead, remove the magnet by tilting it with the help of a plastic handle. You can find a suitable handle for this magnet system linked below.

The full adhesive force is achieved when the ferromagnetic counterpart is smooth and of sufficient thickness and when the magnet system makes direct and full flush contact. Magnet systems already start to lose part of their adhesive force at a small distance from the ferromagnetic surface. This characteristic is more pronounced in magnet systems than in other ferrite and neodymium magnets. Due to the varying position of the thread start, the eyelet can point in different directions when firmly screwed in and is not always flush with a magnet edge. Please also note: This magnet system has a full-length thread, requiring extra care when threading screws, hooks and the like to prevent damage to the rubber coating.
