Neodymium magnets with hook: nickel-plated or colourful

In our online shop, you can choose between silver-coloured (nickel-plated) and white, black or green (powder-coated) hook magnets. Hook magnets with a white coating are barely visible on bright ceilings and walls. The silver-coloured hook magnets are slightly less expensive and stronger.
If you need colourful and novel magnetic hooks for decorative purposes, we also carry less powerful decorative magnetic hooks & magnetic clips.

Adhesive force hook magnets

Due to their composition, hook magnets attain a high adhesive force, which is always determined at a right angle to the holding surface. This means that you will not be able to put as much weight on the magnetic hooks when used on a wall. Nevertheless, they are extremely strong: Our smallest magnetic neodymium hooks with a diameter of 10 mm will already hold objects up to 3 kg. Application areas hook magnets

Our neodymium magnetic hooks have all the advantages of a super magnet, in addition to the practical aspect of the hook. They can be used in industry, interior construction, kitchen installations, shopfitting and exhibition booth construction as well as in wholesale and retail settings. Private customers too will appreciate our magnetic neodymium hooks, especially the smaller ones. These can be used for conveniently hanging various objects around the home, such as clothing, office materials, kitchen utensils, signs, and seasonal decoration, for instance.

If you don't need the hook, you can also use the similar and slightly less expensive pot magnets with screw socket.
The nickel plating somewhat protects the magnets with hook against corrosion. However, it is not sufficient for outdoor use.

Possible uses for pot magnets with L-hooks

Unlike magnetic hooks with curved hooks, L-hooks are not suitable for use on the ceiling. Due to the design, objects hanging from the ceiling would slip off the hook.
However, magnets with L-hooks are perfect for mounting on the wall. Use hook magnets with square hooks

• in the workshop, garage or warehouse. With magnetic hooks, you can hang tools, such as pliers, screwdrivers or paint brushes on metal surfaces, keeping your work surface clear and your tools within reach.
• at home in the kitchen, bathroom or sitting room. Utilise the magnetic hooks to hang keys, towels, tea towels and kitchen utensils such as spatulas or cooking spoons up on a wall. Thanks to the L-shape of the hook, the items can be quickly taken off when needed. If you have a larger ferromagnetic wall surface at your disposal, these magnets with hooks can also be used to hang decorations or pictures with lightweight frames.
• at school or in the office. Magnetic hooks are great for hanging spray cans, sponges, keys and other everyday items on ferromagnetic blackboards or whiteboards. It keeps offices, conference rooms or classrooms organised and accessories handy where they are needed.

Good to know: For pot magnets with L-hooks, the displacement force is crucial, since you can only use these hook magnets on the wall. Therefore, when choosing a magnet with a hook, be sure to take the relevant displacement force information into account.
