How to clean your whiteboard

For whiteboards, special whiteboard markers in various colours are available that can be easily wiped off. Writing with these markers can be dry erased with a whiteboard eraser. It features a thick special fleece that has a high absorption capacity.

If residue remains on the whiteboard, you should occasionally use a wet cleaning method. Use a liquid cleaning spray to wet the surface and then wipe with a cloth or microfibre cloth. You can find such a cleaning spray for whiteboards in our assortment.

How to remove permanent marker from the whiteboard

If you have used a permanent marker on the whiteboard instead of a whiteboard marker, you need to act quickly. If the ink is not yet dry, you can wipe off the writing with whiteboard cleaning spray. If the permanent marker has dried, use this trick: Trace the permanent marker with a whiteboard marker and then wipe the whiteboard clean. The substances contained in the erasable markers let you wipe off the permanent marker ink at the same time.
